Description
The DRD 4222-5AX is a new-generation 5-axis machining center designed for processing wood, plastics, and similar materials, equipped with the Osai OPEN control system.
The machine features a 4200 × 2200 mm nesting working table.
The table can be configured with a vacuum system adapted to production needs, with the option to install accessories such as a presetting system and stop pistons for workpiece positioning.
The machine is equipped with an HSD electrospindle, 12 kW, HSK F63 interface, 22,000 RPM, liquid cooled.
The tool changer is a 12-position traveling system mounted on the right bridge column.
For X-axis movement, the machine uses two Yaskawa brushless motors in GANTRY configuration, while the remaining axes are also equipped with Yaskawa brushless motors.
Technical features
STRUCTURE: fixed table, mobile gantry and the machine base after welding is subjected to stabilization treatment in special furnaces so as to eliminate internal stresses, ensuring long-term maintenance of the required precision.
WORK TABLE: the working area is 4200×2200, Nesting, with 2 vacuum zones. The table is made of 2 layers of bakelite (sandwich), grid-patterned.
SPINDLE: HSK 63 spindle, 12 kW 22000 RPM air-cooled liquid-cooled mounted on bi-rotary head
TOOL CHANGE: rotary tool changer with 12 positions placed on the right beam shoulder and one position to accommodate aggregate on the left beam shoulder
MOTORIZED SHROUD: shroud controlled by servo motor and related drive, CNC controlled so as to position itself according to tool length
AXIS MOTORS: for X-axis movement, 2 Yaskawa branded GANTRY brushless motors are provided, the remaining motors are also Yaskawa brushless.
