Description
The CMS SA-32.12-R65 machine underwent a complete revamping process, transforming its efficiency, safety, and reliability while bringing it into compliance with current standards. Before the intervention, the machine featured an obsolete electrical and mechanical system that no longer met safety regulations.
The upgrade involved the entire electronic and mechanical system, including the replacement of all wiring, electrical connections, air hoses, solenoid valves, and other essential components.
The electrical cabinet was completely rebuilt, improving system stability and operational safety.
The axis motors were replaced with new Delta brushless motors and 400V drives, ensuring smoother, more precise, and more reliable movements. The OSAI OPEN numerical control system now provides more intuitive and higher-performance machine management.
For safety, an interlocked cabin with PVC strips and sensitive safety edges along the perimeter was installed to ensure operator protection. The operator interface was also upgraded with a new console equipped with an All-in-One PC for simpler and more efficient use.
The 3240 x 1200 mm working table with two vacuum zones ensures stability during production processes. In addition, the machining system with 5 rotating units along the Y axis, each equipped with 6 electrospindles, allows simultaneous positioning, significantly reducing machining times.
Thanks to this intervention, the CMS SA-32.12-R65 is now a completely renewed machine: safer, more efficient, and ready to face new production challenges.
