Description
The BULLERI BETA 6S machine underwent a revamping process aimed at improving its efficiency, reliability, and overall performance.
The upgrade involved several key aspects of the machine, including the electrical cabinet, numerical control system, axis motors, and operator interface.
Work carried out:
- Upgrade of electrical and electronic components: the electrical cabinet was modernized with new components, improving system safety and efficiency.
- Replacement of the numerical control system: the old control unit was replaced with a new OSAI OPEN system, ensuring greater precision and flexibility in machine movement management.
- Overhaul of axis motors: the SOELMA DC motors were refurbished and restored to their original condition, ensuring optimal performance.
- Replacement of machine-side wiring, improving the reliability of the entire system.
- Lathe installation: the machine was equipped with an additional axis managed as a lathe, positioned at the front section. This axis is now fitted with DELTA servo drives and servo motors with encoder, increasing machining precision and versatility.
- Operator interface upgrade: the interface was improved through the integration of an All-in-One PC, making operation more intuitive and faster.
Thanks to these interventions, the BETA 6S now delivers superior performance, giving new life to an old machine that was originally destined for decommissioning.
