Description
The DRD 2616 2P is a special machining center equipped with three independent spindles featuring 3 Z axes and 3 Y axes, an Osai Open numerical control system, and two moving tables with a 2600 × 1600 mm nesting working surface made of 2 bakelite layers (sandwich structure).
The tables can be configured with a vacuum system tailored to specific production needs, with the possibility of installing, among the many optional accessories available, a presetting system and stop pistons for positioning the workpiece.
The machine is equipped with:
- 3 HSD ISO 30 spindles rated at 12 kW, mounted on 3 independent Z axes and 3 independent Y axes, allowing each unit to move freely.
The X axis movement is driven by 2 Delta GANTRY brushless motors. The remaining motors are also Delta Brushless motors.

STRUCTURE
Fixed gantry with moving table.
After welding, the machine frame undergoes a stabilization treatment in dedicated furnaces in order to eliminate internal stresses and guarantee long-term precision stability.
WORKING TABLE
2 working areas measuring 2600 × 1600 mm, nesting type, each with 1 vacuum zone.
The tables are made of 2 bakelite layers (sandwich structure) with a grid pattern.
SPINDLE
3 electrospindles with ISO 30 tool holder, 12 kW, 24,000 RPM, air-cooled with electric fan.
The three spindles feature independent horizontal and vertical movement.
PRESSURE ROLLERS
Pressure rollers designed to improve the hold of the workpieces.
UNLOADING BAR
Bar used for unloading finished parts and cleaning the spoilboard at the end of the machining process.
AXIS MOTORS
All axes are driven by Delta brushless motors.
